FINALLY!!!! WWWHAAAT???

"Ok! don't get too excited!!"
I just want to blog about one unusual thing that happened last 14 or 15 days. Unusual in a way that it made my cute butt bothered.

It happened one cold night in our sweet peaceful home (in the laundry area to be exact). It isn't a surprise to my few closest friends here that I live with my older sister ('coz I'm still a baby ofcourse!). But to those who just know..well...SURPRISE!!!

Anyway, this is what happened:
My sister was in the laundry area fixing some mess. She found this old box with useless papers and plastics (or trash). She was about to throw it when she noticed something moving inside the box. She called me up..and ofcourse ORDERED me:

"Throw this in the garbage, (pause) there's something inside".

So I took the old box and discover the unknown present. *peek peek* I was delighted to see the surprise! She noticed me smiling secretly.

The conversation goes this way:

Her: "Throw it away immediately"
Me: "Can we just keep them for a while"
Her: "They are nasty and will only stink"
Me: "Don't you have a heart? They are still babies, look at them..besides, you don't like dogs..and I wanted a tiger *looking at them*..hmmm...they will soon be like tigers!"
Her: "And where will you keep them? They stink!"
Me: "We'll keep them until they are strong enough to walk and find their irresponsible mommy"
Her: "Throw them or I'll throw you!"
Me: *blink blink*

I was silent for a minute, put the box down and hurried inside the house. I took the camera and get back to those 'lil darlings. I held them out of the box and took some snaps.

I told them to keep still but
they keep on searching for each other.

Guess they're feeling cold..

or yet their mommy told them to stay together. *kiss kiss*

"sleep my 'lil Simba" "i hate fans, no autographs pls!" "i will be the next cat model"

After taking few snaps, I took another box, put a cloth on it and place each of them inside. I put the box on one corner of the laundry area, peeked on them again and say goodnight.
When I was about to get in the house, I saw a cat with a black and brown orange fur approaching the gate. I said "Your babies are there" *pointing the laundry area* It simply stared and turned it's back at me.

Now, it made me think:
1/ What's the language of that cat that she didn't understand me?
2/ Maybe she (the cat) thought I put her babies in the washing machine. (But I pointed the laundry area not the machine)

3/ My sis can't throw me outside of the house, our folks will scold her! hahaha!

4/ Is this the answer to my wish to have triplets in the future?

5/ Why did the mom cat stared as if I have an obligation with the kitties? I can't remember any night I sleep with a cat..

*gulp*

6/ Will Didz accept them as my gifts for her wed? They will help her find Lucy or they will get lost too?? *confused*
7/ How can I make them roar instead of meow?

8/Should I share my coffee to feed them or should I sneak sometimes on my sis' slim fresh milk in the fridge?

E E E E E E L P!!!

'lil reminders

A grade 4 child once asked his teacher..
"Ma'am, why is the pronoun "I" always capitalized whenever we write it?"

the teacher smiled and said..
"'Coz it's a way of giving respect to yourself. By capitalizing it, you're emphasizing your worth and uniqueness..So value yourself 'coz you exist for a reason.."

~One thing we often missed when we care too much on other people is the value of SELF-RESPECT. The idea of "giving everything" is not a mistake unless you are giving it to someone who never sees your worth.

~~tragedy on cruel Monday~~

I was hesitant to include this post in my blog. Yet, I am fully aware that I have a responsibility to save the name of my country from the hatred of other people's minds and hearts.

Some of my Filipino friends in the blogosphere had done their part:

and so allow me to share mine..

August 23, 2010 marks a bloodshed. A hostage drama that lasted at least 10 hours and ended the lives of nine people (8 Chinese tourists & the hostage taker).
The hostage taker is a former Senior Inspector who is asking to reinstate him in the police force after being dismissed due to robbery and extortion cases against him and other policemen.

The 55 year old Senior Inspector (hostage-taker) has been awarded as one of the Top Most Outstanding Policemen of the Country and received lots of awards when he was still in service. Two years before his retirement, he was terminated due to cases filed against him. Desperate enough to get his job back, he hi-jacked the tourist bus.

At the beginning of the drama(10am), he released 10 hostages and allowed the supply of food for the remaining 15 hostages inside the bus.

I never expect that my longing to watch a new action movie will be answered by a real and live telecast of such tragedy. Me and my sis were stuck in the sofa, watching every scene. If only the police men can hear us yell at them. It was a mixed emotion. I feel sorry for the hostages, pity the hostage-taker and hate the police for their blunders.

To all the people of Hong Kong, I am very sorry.
We, Filipinos, understand how you feel.
We mourn like you do.
We never wanted this bloodshed.
But please don't hate us and our country.

It was an isolated case.
Please do open your minds and hearts for forgiveness.
Philippines has been a home for most Chinese people.
Filpinos are known to be one of the most-caring, loving and
hospitable people all over the world.
We treated you as our brothers/sisters all throughout the years
and we will forever treat you as part of who we are.

Again, we NEVER wanted this.
Please don't hate us.

* To all Chinese people who is dwelling in our country,
hope you can have the courage to attest how your second home took care of you..
and help patch the friendship between our countries.

~'lil boys & big guys' lessons~

Do you know why 'lil boys are not allowed to play with dolls like Barbie?
~~So that at a young age..
~~~they already know that girls are not toys to be played.
*Maybe that explains why it's no big deal for most mom if their 'lil girls play with guns! So at a young age, they can fight and hunt their boys if they commit mistakes on them. Haist..what an unfair world!
**Seriously, this is not the primary reason why moms won't allow boys to play with dolls. It is primarily for the purpose of avoiding the possible threatening effect on the child's gender. On my part, I do play with guns. But I also got few dolls. Well, not the Barbies exactly but male dolls (oops! the quote above doesn't apply here!) I got this one doll that when you press the pump on it, he would show his butt..hehe! I wish I know that blogs exists in those innocent years (ahem! my innocence remains STABLE and UNquestionable!).
***What if..a boy didn't grow up psychologically? Would every girl trust a boy's love? Is it possible for the boy not to hurt the girl all the time? Would every boy respect each girl she meets? Will he ever be satisfied with a single girl in his life? Will it give her an assurance of real love? Will there be no chance of fooling?
****Every girl is a priceless gift. She is the main source of his strength though he won't say it. Her pain is a curse to a man's heart. Her presence creates an unexplainable feeling of heaven. Her tears will melt his own soul.
And that, made every girl special... If only every man knows her value..
=this post is for a special girl..thanks for making me smile :)
~thinking..
"Sometimes you have to let someone go..
not because you suddenly stopped loving them..
but to see if they remember enough to come back"
(p/s: the quote is exclusive for the living ONLY)
* It's easier to find people to value but it's harder to find few ones who will stay and won't give up on us no matter how we mess up. I have met best people in the different chapters of my life. Each is unique from the other, each has his/her own incredible way that made me kept him/her.
** But no matter how good every one seemed, I am still stupid at most times. Those are the times when I risk everything I have for the sake of saving my pride.
*** Yet, there is SOMETHING PERFECT when I am in my most stupid state..
for it is when I become the most stupid human being on earth..that I realize that there are more idiots who care to understand my undesirable personality and stay unconditionally.
"When you get hurt, you don't need someone to heal the scar and take away the pain.
What you need is someone who will make you realize that nothing is really broken"
~I'm leaving this thought before I hang out with my friends. This goes for all the best people I met here in blogosphere. I only wish to just leave sweet smiles in your lips and heart. We are all fragile. We may hurt each other at times with our powerful words, but what matters most is that we still have "us" here..despite distance and racial differences, though we may not hear each other and only our eyes and fingers speak for our mouths, we still have that mutual feeling inside us -- CARE.
~Ok, stop the drama bean!!..
It's holiday!! Have a nice day everyone!!!
~~healing~~
"WOUNDS will not heal--
if you urgently put band aids on it..
sometimes, you just have to let it bleed..
let your wounds have space for healing..
and when you think your wounds are already cleansed, that's the time you need to use band-aids."
Nobody's left this world without bleeding. Our vulnerability as human beings makes us experience the so-called life. No matter where we set our feet on this planet, we can never escape the blades in our paths. Some blades make scratches, while some sink deeper and create the most intolerable pain. We become desperate. We want to get rid of the pain in any possible way but don't know how. And so we settle to impulsive solutions, thinking we can cover the fresh wound inside us. In the end, we realize that the pain is never gone..it is still there..like a broken rib making us suffer everytime we breathe..
Remember:
THE MORE YOU COVER YOURSELF FROM PAIN, THE MORE IT IS INFECTED..
~twists & turns~
"LIFE IS LIKE A RUBIX CUBE--
There are innumerable twists & turns,
but when you get it right..
it looks PERFECT no matter which side you look at.."
~Before, I was pissed when I can't solve a 3-layer rubix cube. But with much patience and demand I put on my friend to teach me the trick, I was sooooo happy when I made it right in every way(heheeee). Seriously, even knowing the trick requires greater patience and eagerness. I even caught myself sometimes on the phone asking the steps calling my friend--that's how committed I was, even my sis found me weird. The hell I care!
Kimi..what are you doing with that cube??
~~And now I'm bragging about it and almost occupy the space forgetting the thought I should share. Ok, change mood.
Seriously, I guess the message is true. When you find success at the end of a roller-coaster life, you will see your life PERFECT all the way. Another thought I have in mind when I read this quote is, LIFE IS PERFECT BECAUSE OF ITS INNUMERABLE TWISTS AND TURNS..like when i see that rubix cube, when the colors are mixed in all sides, I see complications, yet, I too see how beautiful a rubix cube is when it is colorful. I guess that made it really perfect--the process towards making it complete on all sides.
"Señorito, it's not that easy..besides, you're too OLD for that, it's made for kids!"
~~It doesn't require the END to recognize the beauty of life. It's all the time on the way going to it that we can make life wonderful. The twists and the turns that might be wrong/ right symbolize the risks we take on that unsure journey. The emotion and feeling we put onto while doing the challenge unveils our character and molds our attitude. The grip we apply on each move reflects our faith. And that some people looking on us while we play the game are just our spectators-- expecting, convincing, criticizing, wanting or unwanting us to finish the challenge triumphantly. And we realize, all that matters is still US. If we succeed, the first person who will be happy is the person inside us. If we fail, the mostly hurt is found inside us.
"alright kimi, i can see you're not sweating but trust me, you can solve it soon when i feature you again..go to bed now!"
Use your wits to find the right move. Use your heart to keep you moving.
~unchanged chance~
A fifty year old lady is dying of cancer.
She asks God to give her another 25 years more.
God approves.
After her successful operation, she gets face lift, lipo and tummytuck.
When she went out of the hospital, a truck hit her.
She asks God: "Lord, you said you will give me 25 more years to live?"
God replied: " Ooops! Sorry girl, I didn't notice it's you!"
Have you heard this story?
The first time I read this, I laughed. A 50-year old cancer survivor had all those self-beautification was hit by a truck? What actually does she look like for that driver to hit her? Maybe her face was tucked and her tummy was lifted? I wonder...
Kidding aside, so what's the point of the story? (Do i sound like a story-teller now?)
In our hopeless times, we ask God for miracles to happen. Longer years, beautiful life, greater jobs and even perfect lovers(?). And when God grants us our wishes, we get blinded of that chance we are taking. We get dissatisfied, not contented of what He gave us. We crave for more fun, more pleasures. In the end, we realize, we just had wasted the best of what we have. We lost them and regret again.
Sometimes we missed to stay as who we are. We became a different person. Great if we changed for the better, but sad if we become worse. Wish and strive to become a beautiful human from the inside. Mold your consciousness to the sweet wonderful life.
The physical beauty may perish but what makes you a YOU will stay until you're six feet under.
