'lil reminders

A grade 4 child once asked his teacher..
"Ma'am, why is the pronoun "I" always capitalized whenever we write it?"

the teacher smiled and said..
"'Coz it's a way of giving respect to yourself. By capitalizing it, you're emphasizing your worth and uniqueness..So value yourself 'coz you exist for a reason.."

~One thing we often missed when we care too much on other people is the value of SELF-RESPECT. The idea of "giving everything" is not a mistake unless you are giving it to someone who never sees your worth.

p/s: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PA!!.."--(you wont find this anyway..)

LOVE STORY ONE TIME

Beanizer: "Let me tell you one of my favorite story.."

shhhhhh!!! listen!!

Once, there was an island where the FEELINGS/ VALUES live.
It was announced that the island was going to sink in the ocean
so
FEELINGS prepared to leave..

LOVE: "Can i come with you on your boat?"
RICHNESS: "Sorry, but many golds and silvers here."

LOVE: "Sadness, please stay."
SADNESS: "I'm sorry, but I want to be alone."

LOVE: "Happiness, I'll go with you".
But HAPPINESS didn't here what LOVE said.

TIME: "LOVE, come! I'll take you with me.
Love felt so blessed and overjoyed.
LOVE: "Why did you help me TIME?"
TIME: "'Coz ONLY TIME is capable of understanding HOW GREAT LOVE IS."

*If you are ready to give love, make sure you know how to make it real. The best investment in every relationship (may it be romance, friendship, family) is TIME.
If you don't have it, don't claim you are capable of loving.
'Coz LOVING IS VALUING.

The more time you give, the more you prove the person's worth.

Beanie:
"You see my new diapy??
Yeah, it is a requirement for my chocos, i keep some in here..
now you can't see them!..so don't dare to steal! hmp!"

Eid ul-Fitr

I believe faith has nothing to do with the kind of religion you are a member of. Since we came to this world naked, we are all equal, no influence, no belief, purely human-- from One SAME God.
I was baptized a Christian and brought up with Christian values and virtues. Had my first step and last step of knowledge in Christian schools. In my years of learning the facts and hearing the opinions, I can't resist my amazement and respect on others beliefs and practices. One of which is--the FAITH AND DISCIPLINE of Muslim people.

beautiful place..

Today is a national holiday in the Philippines. A 'lil info for those who doesn't know, Christianity is NOT the first religion of the country but ISLAM. This day is given as an opportunity for us Filipinos to celebrate with our Muslim brothers.

Eid
is an Arabic word meaning "festivity", while Fiṭr means "conclusion of the fast"; and so the holiday symbolizes the celebration of the conclusion of the month of fasting from dawn to sunset during the entire month of Ramadan . (taken from wikipedia)

yuhoooooo!!! playmates!! oh! you fall in line for my lollies??

Idul Fitri is not only for celebrations but a time for atonement: to ask for forgiveness for sins which they may have committed but was cleansed as a result of the fasting in the Muslim month of Ramadan.

To all my Muslim friends all over the world:

"Selamat Idul Fitri"

~match or patch~

"You hate Filipinos for the hostage fiasco earlier this week, right?
Then, should I hate Chinese people for the lead poisoning and melamine contamination?

Wherein, NOT EIGHT but hundreds..maybe even thousands have suffered.
Is it right to blame a whole nation for a mistake of one man?
If you do, then you are mostly DENSE.
No arguments. Just an opinion."

----------
**Pass this to all Filipinos you know.
If you love your country, perhaps you'll send this.

This message was sent to me by a friend. I have seen the same note posted in a comment corner of one you tube clip and in a Facebook page. It made me think. It made me confuse my own reaction on my last post. I made an apology for the mistake of the one man and begged for forgiveness and understanding. But it never occurred to me the hard fact that WE WERE ONCE VICTIMS TOO.

All I was thinking 'til now is..
BLAMING is OF NO USE
.
We can never get back the lives lost from the hostage-drama
and at the same time stop the danger melamine brought to our nation in the past.

One Filipino caused the death of the 8 Chinese.
Hundred/ Thousand lives were put to risk of the melamine
found on Chinese milk and chocolates(still, I love Cadbury!)

Now, I'm leaving this question
to all Filipinos and Chinese people:
(my readers are very welcome to comment)

Is this the right time to PINPOINT EACH OTHER? or
yet, the perfect time to FORGIVE AND START AGAIN?

hmmmm..

Beanizer:
"Mommy he wanted to get my diapy
so I gave him a temporary eyewear!"
